The Sound of the Drum is the Heartbeat of Mother Earth

The use of drumming to enter deep altered states of consciousness for visions, healing and communion with the Spirit World is an ancient tradition by many of the Indigenous Nations of Mother Earth. The rhythmic beating of the drum is an invitation to travel to different realms, including the Underworld, the Middleworld, and the Upperworld of consciousness. It is within these Worlds that we discover more of who we are, and through the guided journey, we become empowered to call back to our One Heart lost parts of our soul.

The sacred space is set and empowered by the invocation of the Sacred Medicine Wheel, the honoring of the Spirits with sweetgrass, the cleansing of the Body, Heart-Mind and Spirit with sage, and the invitation to our Wise Ancestors to be present and to bring protection, guidance and wisdom.

Each journey is unique. Safely guided into the inner realms of consciousness, you are able to explore the depths and expansiveness of your being. You may encounter Helper Spirits and Animal Guides. You may have visions, insights and the recollection of memories.
